For archives with movies, music programs for photos are normal, for use as a system unit it is terribly slow.
I do not consider myself an expert on hard drives, but from my own experience I believe that a SATA 2 connected HDD could be faster.
On the other hand, the write and read speeds are determined by the speed not only of the disk itself, but also of the other elements of the information transfer path (and even the quality of the SATA cable, for example), as well as by what file was used for testing - if the test array consists of many small files, the speed is greatly reduced.
