Is the power supply noisy?

I blew up the noise from the power supply in the middle of the night (the PC remained on), cut everything to hell and went to bed. Today I took it apart, cleaned the dust, poured oil into the cooler, BUT um ... in general, it works silently, but in any position other than the standard one (cooler down), as soon as I put the normal position, it immediately starts to rumble, up, sideways, even diagonally, works silently.

So, what's the problem then? Change cooler.
1. Coolers are not lubricated with oil (liquid lubricants)
2. Lubricate the cooler is nonsense - no lubricants can compensate for metal production.

I noticed that your problem arose after your intervention in the cooler. Perhaps you unsuccessfully assembled it (for example, you forgot to put a fluoroplastic washer, but it happens, more than one). At the same time, the rotor begins to touch the (relatively speaking) stator. Try to assemble again, this time correctly.

Change cooler or bp. Focus on the cost / laziness ratio.
Also, yes, there may be vibrations on the case due to it. There was such a case, a wild noise was simply created periodically.

and besides the covered cooler, there can be vibration on the case. or rather, the vibration from the covered cooler. sometimes it was possible to eliminate the foam pads on the double-sided tape around the PSU. Or by bending the protective grille at the cooler. This, of course, is a collective farm and hand-made, but it doesn’t hit the ears. You can also follow the work of the cooler: does it immediately spin up when turned on, does it slow down during operation, perhaps the blades just hit something while spinning, and when you change position, this something stops interfering.
