Is it possible to use a usb to ps\2 adapter to connect a mouse keyboard to a kvm switch?

And then I don’t want to respond from the keyboard of the mouse. A usb-shny kvm costs a lot of money.

Which side of the host or the client?
If from the host, then in theory there shouldn’t be any problems
If from the client, in theory, too, but the hotkeys for switching may not start, and the usb keyboard mouse is cheaper than ps /
2 KVM on the client side is a soldered USB Hub, in theory it should take off, on stupid ones it's usually just a direct signal switching chip.

The usb to ps2 adapter is exactly what you need.
The main problem is that far from every keyboard or mouse has support for two modes of operation.
Yes, it is the keyboard and mouse that should be able to work in ps2 mode via a usb adapter.
Active usb to ps2 adapters are quite rare and it’s not a fact that you can just find it on sale.
