Is ngnix required for sites on the MEVN stack?

Hello everyone, there is a vps with apache web server installed on it - do sites on the MEVN stack need to install and deploy ngnix, or can they run on apache?

NGINX is needed for 10000+ requests per minute. Or for those who are doing something that will process 10000+ requests per minute. For the rest of the kindergarten, both Apache and IIS will do.
