Is Medium.com readable?
Habrazhiteli, we are talking about a collective blogging service from the creators of Twitter and a blogger - medium.com.
I have tried many times to read articles on this resource, but it is simply impossible. I lose not only lines, but also letters.
Absolutely everything is striking - from the size of the font size to the line spacing.
The only solution to the problem is to reduce the zoom to 75%, then it becomes a little easier to read.
And, well, the question is, am I the only one who notices this flaw? Is there something I don't understand about web typography?
And I will immediately answer counter questions - no, I have no problems with vision, screen resolutions are 1600x900 and 1920x1080, I have no problems reading text on other websites.

What's not to like? Half interval. Text. Nothing but text. Everything is great. I don’t see a problem to zoom out for yourself if necessary. 100% read quite comfortably. Especially on a tablet.
Everything reads perfectly, the typography there is excellent for my taste!
Depending on what to look at and from what distance, I think.
Reading is difficult on a 1600*900 laptop, which is about half a meter away, much more comfortable at 75% zoom. When reading from a desktop monitor 1440 * 900, which is about 1.2 m (or 1.5 m if you lean back in your chair) - it becomes comfortable to read, without straining your eyes at all. It's about text size.
And as for the font and line spacing - everything is individual here. It fits me. But someone doesn't. It's hard to please everyone. In my opinion, the typography is well thought out and the text is readable.
Readable but not interesting. Link for those who wanted a link:

www.read-able.com tells us that everything is quite bearable: "This page has an average grade level of about 7. It should be easily understood by 12 to 13 year olds."
But to be honest, I don't like this "style" either. At one time I tried to use a browser extension that increased the readability of the desired site, but due to the fact that it refigured everything into something like this format, I deleted it.
Apparently, subjectively and a matter of habit.
