I would do this:
If you don’t have experience working on the web, the budget is minimal, you are not sure about the topic, but you already have the first loyal customers and want to test one or more topics in the short term, you can consider constructors. Especially if there are several topics and there is no budget.
Otherwise, as far as I know (I don’t know many designers) - solid minuses.
Working with the constructor is easy only if you follow their very limited patterns. You won’t be able to add something from yourself, or it will look crooked. In general, spend a lot of time, get a template with garbage code at the output, which you cannot transfer anywhere. An advanced user will immediately notice that the site is some kind of template and (most likely) crooked.
As for the promotion - there is nothing to talk about in the long term, I think the context is for 3-6 months. I don't think it will be much more expensive.
In short, save on the test.
The rest of the cons:
- you can’t do anything for yourself, or get crutches
- you won’t be able to use anything from what you have done
- the knowledge gained while working with the designer is useless, but you have to study
- spend a lot of personal time
- it’s not a fact that you can transfer the product database ( see the possibilities of the import-export constructor)
- in any case, you will switch to CMS, if things go well, 10-20 thousand. and throw out your efforts in the end, although this is not much.
