Is it worth making an online store on wp?

Good day/night! I want to ask people who have had experience in both WordPress and Opencart. What is the site worth doing? What is easier? Where you don't need to invest much? I'm happy to talk to an experienced person.

Depends on your requirements. Neither on WP nor on Opencart will you make a serious and complex store. And the stall can be made on anything.

A matter of preference. I am for WP, it’s easier for me, firstly, and secondly, it’s more flexible than opencart, especially if the knowledge is not deep, you get tired of fighting with modules. Opinion is purely subjective, of course.

What is easier and more flexible specifically for the store is a moot point. But WP has one giant advantage - popularity. Whatever problem arises in the course of working with WP, there is a high probability that it has already been discussed and solved a hundred times in a huge community. And when the engine is less popular, and the community is half-dead, it can be impossible to find a solution even for a relatively simple problem. I worked with all popular CMS, but it was because of such moments that I finally settled on WP, and I use it for any sites.

Definitely WP, because Opencart has limited options in the admin panel, while absolutely everything is edited on WP.
