Is it worth buying a problematic HDD?

They offered a problematic HDD Hitachi 500 gb for a small sum.

In general, none of those who value money less than time is associated with problem screws precisely because of the unpredictability of their behavior. The data you cited will still not give a clear understanding of how reliable the screw is and how long it will work.
But of course, the economic situation is different, so depending on what you want to do with it:
To store completely unimportant information there (movies that can always be re-downloaded from the Internet) - you can.
To store personal information there that you cannot recover - no.
To put the system and software there is not recommended, because it is not clear how this hard drive will manifest itself in a day or a month.

parameter 196 is critical.... and as practice shows - they multiply..... is
it worth it or not - it's up to you to decide what is more expensive, disk or data?
