Is it safe to use PhpPgAdmin / PhpMyAdmin?
I read that on the Internet bots scan for servers, sites with their folders, and then look for possible vulnerabilities.
That is, if the firewall is configured crookedly, write permissions, and the folder name is the same, then this reduces the degree of security, as it opens up new, potential vulnerabilities. And it's better to use the console.
Have I understood everything correctly? If so, why then this graphical shell?

By itself, this does not reduce your security, it is reduced by the wrong setting. PhpMyAdmin can be moved to another address or restricted to only certain IPs, and that's it, no problem. All in your hands.
