Is it possible to work on the monitor in this situation?

Hello! In general, the situation is as follows. A friend cleaned the monitor, apparently water got into it. When turned on, there were, as it were, streaks, drops, blots on the monitor (as if from water). Left for the night. After 12 hours, turned it on again. All drops and blots disappeared, the streaks at the bottom became smaller. Then I sketched the contours of the streaks in Photoshop (to compare). In a day, and in another day, they become smaller and smaller. Along the way, the water dries up. What is the question (just this particular monitor, damn it, is needed), is it possible to work on it now? Or is it better not to take risks and wait (streaks just decrease by half a centimeter-centimeter a day, and this is to wait another week)?
As for the work itself - everything is OK, everything works like a watch (and all menu functions, etc.)
I tried to disassemble, but the lid is very tightly pressed, in short, I don’t want to risk something either.
Leaks are like this:

Did she wash it in the washer? This monitor is out of warranty. Disassemble and wash the board and sushi with alcohol, otherwise the oxides, if they appeared from the water, will kill the board. Electricity and heat increase corrosion.

Look for silica gel. A couple of hours and moniques are drier than before washing.
