HDD storage
Faced the problem of HDD storage.
Need to store and store a large amount of hdd. The number of disks is measured in dozens and they need to be easily removed / removed.
At the moment, foam boxes are used, in which, apparently, the disks were brought by the supplier. They look something like this: picture 1 and 2 . They are naturally small and not enough for all disks.
The question is the following. Where can I get such goodness in the amount of 5-10 blocks? What else can be adapted for mass storage hdd?
PS The second question is more relevant.

Call either large chain stores or the offices of large technology companies. Unfortunately, you did not specify the city.
I saw such HDD warehouses just on the shelves, but in a ventilated room.
I use these silicone skins to store discs. They stack wonderfully on top of each other and protect against accidental impacts inside the drawers. See if it suits you too.
There are manufacturers of foam packaging. Perhaps if the batch is larger, it will be possible to agree on an acceptable cost of products.
a long time ago there were great big floppy boxes. it is possible to actually find them even today.
I would look for modelers - they have to cut different shapes from foam, someone even builds 3D machines for this.
Make a drawing, buy foam blocks and cut them out for a fee.
But, to be honest, polystyrene is good for transportation, and one-time. When taken out, it crumbles and generally.
I would try to look in the direction of the shelves for video cassettes, if they still exist, although if I saw it somewhere, discs are stored on simple shelves, vertically on the long side, it is quite safe IMHO.
In any company that builds PCs, these boxes from the HDD are thrown away in large quantities. Even a small store throws away a box a week. You can use for storage from Samsung and WD, maybe Seagate. Hitachi - PVC packaging will not work. Cardboard boxes are also very durable, the manufacturer expected to roll them across half the world. For stationary storage, I would pick up polyurethane foam packages , like yours (contact the supplier). They are not foam and do not crumble. Take the same and assemble a cabinet from chipboard for this size. Perhaps even with drawers on skids.
