Is it possible to set up a development environment on OS X to run PHP projects as fast as on Linux?

There is such hardware configuration:
- Core i5-4460
- Gigabyte GA-Z97-D3H
- SSD
- 12Gb RAM
installed hackintosh
tried MAMP, native apache + brew(php55) + mysql(dmg), vagrant + virtualbox|parallels + ubuntu|debian and nfs sharing
all tested configurations are terribly slow compared to ubuntu
is it possible to achieve good speed on osx?

Install ubuntu on apple

Use vagrant.

I don't see any point in installing a hackintosh for development. Ubuntu will be faster in almost everything.
