Is it possible to search for contacts by last name in G Suite corporate mail when writing a letter?

Our organization moved from corp. yandex mail to google.
In Yandex, when writing the last name in the "To" column, the person's address was automatically found, or a proposal to display the entire contact book (all registered mail users on this domain)
In Google mail, which is strange, this does not work. Is it possible to enable this functionality in G Suite?
