It depends on what exactly the problem was at the time of the transfer.
If there were problems with DNS resolution and MX records pointed to an inaccessible server, then if the idle time was not very long (usually no more than a day), nothing else needs to be done, all letters arrived as soon as the problem was fixed.
If the letters went to the wrong server, then it all depends on what the server answered in that case. If the server response contained a 4xx error, then nothing needs to be done either, the letters will be resent automatically. If the server responded with a 5xx error, then nothing can be done, because upon receipt of such an error, the sender immediately generates a delivery error, there is nowhere else to receive such letters from.
In any case, there is nothing more you can do.
You can take some action only if the letters were successfully delivered somewhere. Usually, in such cases, the collection of letters from the boxes where they were delivered is organized, you can use utilities like imapsync.
