Static burnt hdmi on gf GTX 570. Is it possible to repair on my own? What could burn out?

ps. As it turned out, even burned out on the monitor.

The video card was replaced under warranty. I paid a little extra and took a gtx 670

the card is new, have you tried it under warranty? There is little of your fault here.
