Is it possible to recover mail from an INBOX file?

Mail account deleted in Yandex Connect. On a PC, Thunderbird picked up mail via imap.
The account has now been recreated. The inbox file weighs 1.8 Gb. However, there are no letters.
Whether it is possible to pull out mail from this inbox?
