Is it possible to record its sounds in midi format from an iron synthesizer to a DAW?

Can I somehow connect an iron synthesizer so that the DAW records its native sound not as an audio track, but as MIDI data, so that later, for example, it would be possible to conveniently quantize, etc.?

If it has midi-in/out and the audio interface has midi-in/out you can.
