Is it possible to raise a wan connection on managed switches?
Hello. I want not expensively and angrily to transfer a house network to gigabit open spaces. At home there is a TP-Link 842nd router and 2 cables from different Internet providers. What you want:
1. Buy a managed gigabit switch (for now, I settled on this model).
2. Configure 2 ports to connect to 2 providers.
3. The rest - to LAN + configure DHCP.
4. Leave the router as a wireless access point + switch for consumers who are not demanding on speed.
Question. Is it possible to do this on this piece of iron? In particular, I wonder if it is possible to raise several wan connections (pppoe and dhcp)? Perhaps there are cheaper options that would fit the current requirements?
Thanks for answers.
