Is it possible to put disks with different spindle speeds in RAID?

Good afternoon, tell me please. There is a video surveillance server on Supermicro, with RAID5 (hardware).
There are 4 ordinary Seagate Barracuda 3.5" 7200rpm 64Mb in the raid.
The system started to lag terribly, I checked the smart and this is the picture.

I want to replace the disk, now all of the more reliable ones have a spindle speed of 5400/5200.
Who will advise if a replacement is possible?

It is possible at different speeds.
Barracuda in RAID - well, it's quite "deshman" (although he did it himself). A budget-compromise option is at least Seagate Iron Wolf or WD Red. The normal option is enterprise-class disks, but they will be 2-3 times more expensive than Barracuda. There are also drives specifically for video surveillance - Surveillance and WD Purple (most likely they differ from other drives only in the firmware adapted for a specific task; I'm not sure that they are worth the money).
Well, the fact that you have RAID5 in general is not lucky for you. The fact that RAID5 is for video surveillance is doubly unlucky. In the future, I would think about moving to another RAID. I will not paint in detail, this topic has been discussed a thousand times on the Internet, and ten times on Habré and Toaster. Just keep in mind that now you will install a new disk, and the synchronization of the array can take several days for you, given that the workload from video surveillance goes on 24 hours a day. During these few days, at least one error will happen on any of the other three disks - and kirdyk to the whole RAID.

In principle, it will work - it is not the speed of the spindle that is important, but the speed of the disk itself. A drive with a slower rotational speed but higher write density may even have a higher linear read speed.
It's just that if the performance of the disks in the raid is very different, the performance of the raid will not be optimal, but it will work.
