How to recover data from a formatted disk?

Good afternoon. A friend brought me an HDD disk that contained important data. It was formatted completely, not even logical partitions left, just empty unreserved space without a single logical partition. Please tell me, is it possible to recover text documents and photos from this disk? The disk was built into a laptop, 500GB, 400 data, there is a second disk on which Windows 7 is already installed, on a laptop it is possible to work with two built-in disks at once, so you can boot the system.

Try recuva . Under Windows in most cases (if the disk is not overwritten) helps. For more serious things, professionals will be required.
