Is it possible to print to Kyocera with passwords?

Is it possible to set up printing via passwords on network MFPs / Printers from Kyosera using standard tools.
It turns out a delayed queue or something. The printer is located in the corridor, you need to make sure that until the person enters the password on the device, printing does not start. This is necessary to exclude documents from falling into the wrong hands, because until they send it to print and reach the printer, a certain time will pass.
I know that there are such print control systems that cost an overdose, but don't the kiosers have some built-in budget settings?

Didn't set it up myself, but google "kyocera private printing". Looks like what you need.

Yes, you can set Kyocera to have confidential printing.
MyQ, Private print - for large and old devices.
For modern small and medium:

  • Standard support :
    Depends on printer support for "Job storage" and possibly on machine driver, see for example setting in simple FS-1020 - https://awella.ru/fs1020-10.php.htm ;
    In a number of medium devices, at least in some devices (and / or drivers) there is no support (the printer may be supported by different drivers - you can try to find a driver that supports confidential printing, suddenly the printer supports storage, but the driver does not):

    In advanced printers (and in their drivers) support should be:
    611b879ad39d1969782851.png
    ( What versions of drivers do you have - look through printmanagement.msc)
  • For the newest mediums (eg M3655idn), confidential printing is supported by different users (authors) with their own access codes.
  • If there is no support for confidential printing, you can trick it ))) :
    - send for printing to the tray that is not in the printer, or to the multifunction tray that is now closed;
    - the printer will not print, it will flash until you come up and confirm the tray change (so at least on P2235dn, it seems).
  • Well, do not forget about the USB port on the printer, if it is, then you can print from it.
    We go to the printer with a flash drive and print from it.
