Is it possible to prevent the monitor from charging macbook via type-c?

There is a monitor that I connect to a macbook via usb type-c, the monitor charges my macbook via usb type-c, how can I prevent it from charging? There is stupid charging and charges up to 100%, and even when it is already 100%, the charge still goes on. Because of what, the macbook heats up and makes noise + starts to lag everything (kernel_task starts consuming 1000% CPU and above, as soon as I turn off the monitor, everything becomes normal). Thank you.
