How effective is FreeSync with an NVIDIA graphics card?

How does the game feel in general with drawdowns in frames with FreeSync on NVIDIA ? Let's say you take a 4K monitor, turn on FreeSync with a range of 40 - 60 Hz and observe the smoothness. How much can you catch the difference with the eye when the FPS jumps from 42 to 60 in the game? I 'm thinking of getting a 4K monitor, but the PC performance is not enough ( GTX 1080 Ti ) to give a flat frame rate (60 frames) in new games, I want to understand how effective FreeSync is. Will there be a feeling that the FPS is constantly 60, even with drawdowns up to ~42. Will there be a difference in the smoothness of the picture (or in something else) if you take a similar monitor with G-Sync ?

You can choose to stop at 1C UT or UNF with an addition in the form - 1C: CRM, CRM: Bit.
Retail is not very suitable for wholesale. It can be used in conjunction with UT at remote stores.

NVIDIA doesn't have FreeSync, does it? It has its own G-Sync technology. These are different technologies, not interchangeable ...
