After looking at the video cards in the shops of my city, they mostly have a pci-e 3.0 connector. What are the consequences after replacing the video card with this connector? Interface versions are backwards compatible. Maybe the card will not work at 100% of its capabilities. But most likely you won't even feel the difference between version 2 and 3.
