How to receive e-mail on a server with CentOs 5?

I am setting up a server on CentOs 5. According to the tutorial wiki.centos.org/HowTos/postfix installed postfix and dovecot. They work. Configured the user's Mailbox directory. And POP3 works, I can check mail.
However, sending mail to the server does not work. I suspect that you need to open port 25.
telnet myserver.com 25 says nothing (cannot connect).
If yes, how to do it?

By the way, SSD has one feature (I will support the previous author) - it is NOT RECOMMENDED to give the entire capacity to the partition ... On the Internet, you can find a technique for bullying the SSD! Verdict: it is recommended to leave 10% to 20% in the unallocated area...

@opium

by default, postfic only happens to the local ip 127.0.0.1
, you need to set it in the config to listen to the external ip of the server
, and open port 25 in the firewall
