Is it possible to patent the format for issuing and filtering data on the site?

Tell me, is it possible to patent a special method of filtering data - a set of specific filters on the page and the corresponding data output format? For example, on my site I have a map with settlements and the ability to simultaneously filter them by the number of brothels per capita, the number of gas stations and the number of lighters sold over the past year.

like Microsoft, everyone screams “patent trolls” and “patented everything in the world, you can’t fart without asking.” and how they themselves came up with something, so “is it possible to patent? tell"

Maybe your example is unsuccessful, but what is the peculiarity of the method? IMHO, it's simple .

It is impossible for no individuality, it's like patenting potatoes to plant diagonally across the field.

It is difficult to say what cannot be patented, because. even if something is impossible, then, after a little thought, it is possible.
What is important is not the patent, but the ability to control its use, i.e. violations (this is not the work of the patent office, sorry, but the owner of the patent), and more importantly, the strength to protect this patent and money for lawyers.
Now people have patents for a person's life: any person, in theory, can be convicted of more than one patent infringement. It’s just that now it’s not very realistic to defend patents and prove their violation, so we live like this, relatively easily. But if you put this case on the conveyor, then ... they will quickly figure it out with patents and you won’t even patent your own format for issuing data on the site.
