Is it possible to make the ASUS RT-N56U router work in media server mode?

Specifically, the task is to distribute IPTV streams to TVs in the home network using a router.
There is a playlist with tv channels from my provider, which needs to be uploaded to the router, which in turn, using the DLNA / UPnP protocol, would give this business to clients.

Heard about padavan firmware . Is it possible to achieve what you have planned with its help?

You can, then set up the xupnpd media server in it, which can distribute not only ordinary video-photo-music files over DLNA, but also wrap IPTV.
