Ubuntu does not see tablet disk (ASUS TFT101)

I suspect I'm not the only one with a problem. But a Google search didn't answer the question.

I'm trying to access the internal memory of the tablet. On Windows it's no problem. In Ubuntu 10.10, the new drive does not appear. lsusb

command output shows usb connection [email protected]~$ lsusb Bus 002 Device 003: ID 18d1:4e0f Google Inc how to win?

Reading this forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1143044&page=4
hints that some Asus driver may come up with this thing, but then the driver needs to be told the vendor id and device id of the hardware by hand so that it " picked up." Usually in the driver (in the source code) there is such an id table, to which it clings, so we supplement the table, rebuild and go.
in ubuntu 10.10, I suppose, a rather old kernel (after all, a year and a half has passed), in newer ones they could already do this
And, by the way, here in this post forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?s=0034b7cd7a3bb6409c3d9c48d92804e4&p= 16900111&postcount=37 it becomes clear that some setting determines which usb id the device reports...
