Is it possible to make a usb-modem work only on DC-HSPA + without dropping to UMTS even with poor catching of the first one?

Modem - 4G LTE Quanta Computers 1K6E
In our area, 4g does not catch, this is me in advance.
Standard Beeline web interface.
In network modes, you can set "Only 2g", "Only 3g"

You need to start dealing with the modem with w3bsit3-dns.com . Read the topic, maybe there is already something, maybe someone will tell you something. It's just that on w3bsit3-dns.com in the modem topic there are more chances to meet the answer.

Actually it is possible. Found utility HSPA Locker v1.3b. The signal used to jump from UMTS to DC-HSPA+ and back, which affected the ping. Now the signal is forcibly kept on DC-HSPA + and the ping has become more stable.

No. Dc-hspa+, wcdma, hspa = that's all 3g. Which connection will be connected depends only on the network signal, and not on the settings, maybe gprs and edge = 2g, if everything is so bad .. =/

Precisely settings - NO, cannot be. But usually this is treated by connecting an external antenna, for example, the PHA-2100, which has already become a classic. The reception point is taken out of the room, rises higher. In 95% of cases, stable HSDPA is obtained (DC, TC, or simply +, depending on the capabilities of the modem). In your case, the modem supports MIMO (antenna diversity) and has as many as 2 sockets for this. Use remote - strongly desirable. With a decrease in ping and an increase in speed, you will pleasantly go nuts ...
