Is it possible to make a router out of a computer?

I want to build myself a small computer for such tasks as:
1. Router
2. Apache server for friends
3. Broadcasting video from cameras to the web
4. Working with arduino Everything
seems to be fine. Advise whether I want to do the right thing and how it is generally better to organize it all and whether there are articles on this topic. Are there ready-made server configurations?

I would separate router and server. The reasons are probably not very good, but I believe that the router is much easier to place where it will be needed. For example, arrange it so that the wi-fi coverage is adequate. Or vice versa, put it so as not to pull wires around the apartment, and then use repeaters if there is not enough coverage area.
Well, the "server" can be completely combined with the main computer, especially since "Working with arduino" seems to suggest its location in the workplace, and not on the mezzanine.
Again, if you carry out some work with the server, then the rest of the devices will not be left without the Internet.
