Is it possible to make a new section next to an existing one?

There is a screw on which Windows and files + 400GB are free. Is it possible somehow to beat off ~ 50GB from them and make it a new partition? (Old files need to be saved)

If you have Win7 and above, then this can be done with the standard disk manager that comes with Windows. Right click on my computer - manage - disk management.

you can resize in Acronis Disk Director or any other partition manager, you need to do it after defragmentation in order to reduce the time of work easier to do from other operating systems or live cd like acronis bootdvd 2014

Paragon Hard Disk Manager is the tried and true best option.
