Is it possible to hide h1?

Hello. When laying out a page where the h1 element should have been, for some reason the customer does not want to make it such, but leave it as a picture. But, you can’t shove an image into the h1 tag. Is it possible to hide h1 and write the text from the image there or what way to go in SEO if there is no explicit main heading.

Nobody forbids you to put img inside h1, for example: Can we place img inside h1 according to web standards?
