Iron
Drew, 2016-08-27 20:10:28

Is it possible to force the onboard netadaptor, which does not support airmon-ng mods, to be supported in software ways (without a soldering iron)?

Broadcom bcm4313 wl not work for mon/inject
except "man, go buy yourself a normal usb card with antennas and bells and whistles and don't fuck with our brain", any ideas? Maybe there is some software?
A soldering iron, if anything, is also there. But in picking in iron on such an equalizer, it’s definitely darkness.

@druNJ

At me it has turned out
Just in case I will write as:
$ lspci -vvnn | grep 14e4
05:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation BCM4311 802.11b/g WLAN [14e4:4311] (rev 01)
08:00.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Broadcom Corporation BCM4401-B0 100Base-TX [14e4 :170c] (rev 02)
$ sudo apt-get purge bcmwl-kernel-source broadcom-sta-common broadcom-sta-source
$ sudo apt-get install b43 -fwcutter firmware-b43-installer
# modprobe b43
$ sudo gedit /etc/rc.local
I couldn't believe my eyes
myself wlp1s0 changed his name to wlp1s0b1 and everything worked great!
Now I switched from ubuntu to kali, which installed perky and saw all the driver updates with a bang.

@jcmvbkbc

Did not write what OS interests.
Under linux, support for this chip is very bad, you need to pick the driver, you can’t help with a soldering iron.
Observing the history of the development of Linux drivers for broadcom, I want to say: it is better to choose hardware from other vendors, such as atheros.
