Is it possible to follow a user who came through advertising in Yandex Direct?

Hello!

We use Yandex Direct, but we are not sure about the effectiveness of advertising.

Goals are set up in Yandex Metrica. We know that the conversion is 10%.
Those. out of 100 clicks, 10 users register.

The problem is how, once a user is registered, to follow him.
We need to know the login (or IP) of the user who came through the advertisement.
To see if he will be using the system in a week.

Yes, we can see in the Apache access file what request the user and his IP came from.
But manually monitoring this process is not serious.

Is there any way to automate this process?

Thank you!

As an option, add a field to the user base in which you store where he came from. In direct links, put a special parameter (like ?from=direct). When entering with this parameter, remember the visitor (session/cookies). When registering, see if there are cookies set, that the visitor is from direct and fill in this field in the database.
And then see if this user will come in a week or not.
Somewhere there were articles on Habré about tracking visitors from the context, though I couldn’t find it right off the bat.

Have you tried using services like WebVisor?
If you know the IP address, then I think the problems will disappear altogether.

connect Yandex.Metrica to the site - it will help.
