Is it possible to find out the type of SSD without disassembling the laptop?
Good afternoon.
I want to buy a laptop https://www.asus.com/ru/ROG-Republic-Of-Gamers/ROG...
complete with 256 SSD. The problem is that it is sold with both SATA and PSIE.
Hard Drives:
1TB 5400RPM SATA HDD
1TB 7200RPM SATA HDD
Solid State Drives:
128GB/256GB/512GB SATA3 SSD
Solid State Drives:
256GB/512GB PCIE Gen3X4 SSD
Is it possible to find out what type of SSD is used when buying? For example, some specific software?

From device manager. For example, a video card and an M.2 SATA SSD
Drive PCI \ VEN_ **** & DEV_ **** into the search (the rest is not important) and you will find out if this is a SATA or PCI-Express controller
