Is it possible to develop a game for ios on imac using unity?

Goal: to make an indie game for ios on unity and release it in the appStore.

The question is, if I only have imac and iphone from hardware, can I do this, or does unity assume that development should be done on windows?

Limited budget, so I want to take the most suitable hardware.
