Is it possible to "cure" dead pixel?

I took a Philips 241p QPY monitor on an MVA matrix. I ordered it online, so I didn't have a chance to see it in the store.
After using it, I noticed a faulty pixel. Its malfunction is manifested in the following. It shines red (or crimson) on a white, green and yellow background. At the same time, if you put blue, red (magenta or purple) or black on the background, the malfunction disappears and it works as it should.
Is it really possible to fix it? Or is it better to carry it to the store until 14 days have ended (the right of the consumer to exchange / return, Ukraine).
PS I'm asking because I've read that it's completely impossible to fix black dots (burnt out), and colored ones with glitches seem to be corrected. I tried fixing programs (launched for 15-20 minutes), and also massaged the area where the faulty pixel is located - it didn’t help.

Monitor changed. The store did not want to take it, but the money was still returned. The new copy does not turn yellow at the bottom of the screen and there is no broken pixel.

If 14 days have not ended yet, then why bother? Take it back for a change if possible.

Somewhere on Habré there was an article or a comment that you can try to freeze.

or just try to press down ("massage") a place with a pixel, even with your finger, it once helped me, as it may not seem silly.
