Is it possible to create a system partition for the system on another drive?

Good afternoon. My HDD had a primary ( system ) (C:) and a logical partition (D:). I installed a second Windows on the logical partition (D:) and converted it to the primary
using the Partition Assistant utility .
I want to format (C:), can I create a system partition for (D:) and continue to use the system installed on it?
