Box for hdd(ssd), with password. There are such?
Actually, a very long time ago I saw an article on habré about boxing for hdd or ssd, I don’t remember exactly.
The essence of the device is that it encrypts all the information on the screw and it cannot be read without it. To unlock the information you need to enter the code on the box itself.
Maybe I'm confusing something.
Are there such devices in nature or did I dream it?

I would use Bitlocker if you plan to use it with Windows (DisLocker allows you to connect the disk to Linux)
Or dm-crypt (Luks) if you use Linux
Since if the box closes in 2-3 years, it is not known how to take data from it.
