Restoring graphic files 2 years ago from hard drive C

What programs can restore graphic files 2 years ago.
The files were on the C/desktop partition.
Preferably with a date filter and file types.
The OS was not reinstalled and the disk was not formatted.

@leekent , the chances largely depend on the placement and settings of the page file and the TEMP/TMP environment variables, and the utilization (percentage of capacity used) of the disk over those two years, but in general - yes, the chances are almost zero.

Try www.piriform.com/recuva for example, suddenly you don't really like to write to disk, but the disk is a couple of terabytes.
