Server hard drive

Hello.
I apologize for a possibly noob question, I have hardly worked with servers before, but now I need to quickly orient myself.
We have 2 servers - HP ProLiant DL380 G5 and HP ProLiant DL380 G6 . Now, as always, suddenly, there was a need to set up data backup, in connection with which it was decided to transfer all user data (1C, databases, GRAND, personal files) to G6, and back them up to G5. To do this, you need to purchase 2 disks of 1TB each. Now there are SAS disks (such as www.harddrivesdirect.com/product_info.php?cPath=130&products_id=144362 ). Spend more than 50-60k rubles. I don’t want to use SAS 2.5" disks, and therefore the question arose whether it is possible to use SATA 2.5" disks, namely this disk:www.harddrivesdirect.com/product_info.php?cPath=&products_id=458464 on these servers (G5 and G6) and will anything else be needed or will they work once connected?
Thank you.

If you have an SFF 8482 connector (which is mechanically compatible with SATA), then you can connect SATA drives.

We often use a SAS + SATA mix on our servers (recently we also install SATA SSDs). From experience - disks should be added in pairs, a mirror and it is desirable to have drives from different batches.
