What is the cheapest Google Contacts enabled phone?

Hello, habroanswerers!
I have a primary Galaxy Nexus phone. It is somehow dumb to leave it, for example, on the beach when you go swimming. Therefore, there was a desire to buy some kind of second phone, into which you can simply rearrange the card, and it will not be a pity. But you still need to use it, which means the main thing: to have all my contacts (and they are all stored in Google Contacts) and the ability to read SMS.
I saw that now there are quite a few different phones with minimal functionality, but I would like to know which one will be the cheapest, but also so that it can be used.
Thanks in advance.

In theory, Nokia Series 40 can also sync contacts with Google. And the cheapest phone on the S40 is the Nokia C1-02. But I would still advise you to check the possibility of synchronization before buying. Theoretically, it should work.

Works normally with Google Contacts only Android.
In fact, the universal SyncML works mediocrely, because. the phone's address book (usually) has a very limited set of fields of limited length. We can say with confidence that a mobile, work and home phone will overflow, as well as a first and last name. What will happen to the rest of the fields is not known, then how lucky.
I personally did only import before the trip. With two-way synchronization, such a nuisance may well happen that the truncated fields will flood back and spoil the data on the server. It can also duplicate Before experimenting, make a backup copy.

I join the advice to take Nokia.
I would like to warn you that duplication glitches are inevitable, since the address book of the S40 is miserable.
Judging by the plate www.google.com/mobile/sync/ You need to aim at Symbian, there are still phones on this platform for sale, for example C5. For five thousand you can take an android :)

Even on the old (2005) motorola L6 there was a SyncML option that I somehow set up to synchronize with Google. Contacts are perfectly synchronized. Nokias (old symbian smartphones) could also be configured to sync via Exchange ActiveSync, which added calendar sync.

You can buy any Nokia with which Nokia PC Suite will work and simply export the entire address book there. The first link to the request in google is "google contact export nokia".

Take the shabby (moderately) motorola defy from your hands! Especially, on the beach it will be the very thing ... and drop it into the sand and take a picture of something under the water.

The item "Synchronization" was, in my opinion, in each of my phones since the old Siemens

I can’t say that the cheapest one is 4500 rubles, but as a direct owner I can advise Alcatel One Touch 908 . Normal such an android, everything is with him.

My nokia 3120c was able to synchronize contacts with an external address book, where Google scored servers, forgot what the protocol is called, it is already outdated. on habré it seems and subtracted how to set up Nokia for this matter

Actually, Google used to support synchronization as an Exchange server, so in theory, any mobile phone that can do this can synchronize with it.
