Is it possible to configure hot dial (PLAR) feature on Cisco IP Phone 7905G without Call Manager?
Several sites provide instructions for configuring the Cisco Call Manager so that the Cisco 7905G IP Phone dials a predefined number when the handset goes off-hook. This feature is available under different names from different manufacturers of IP phones/gateways.
But Cisco Call Manager appears everywhere.
Is it possible to do without a call manager? For example, by loading a configuration via tftp xml, which would contain a special directive for setting the PLAR (hot dial) function?

belunix IMHO without CUCM/CME it cannot be implemented in any way.
