Is it possible to bargain if the “market” salary of a programmer is significantly lower than the positions of other types of programmers?

There is a special kind of programmers, those who make firmware for hardware: microcontrollers, firms, and so on.
Their market salary is usually significantly lower than everyone else.
You can often see this picture: A
Moscow startup aimed at a foreign market has two vacancies:
1. Leading Java or C-kernel programmer - salary from 170 tr. and higher.
2. Leading firm welder - salary up to 100tr. and very rarely up to 150.
I draw your attention to the fact that this is one company and its related vacancies.
Both have the same requirements and independent development of the project from and to. including service utilities, and 5-10 years of experience, etc. And knowledge of other disciplines such as physics or geometry.
Often, red diplomas, Vakov publications, scientific degrees and other cargo cults of hrs are required for iron.
I'm not going to argue that it's more difficult for high level or low iron coding,
I think that they are just two different worlds.
I do not agree to work for such a "market salary", no matter how much they poke me in the nose with it, it is simply not profitable for me at the moment in terms of the totality of all factors. I honestly do not understand all the excuses that this is a "market salary", that microcontrollers need oscilloscopes (apparently necessarily diamond ones) and other equipment, and so on. And I also don’t understand when half of the habr pokes at arduino and they don’t understand all the complexity that there is only one arduino in the world. In general, there are a lot of stupid delusions and things "just like that."
And I would like to understand: is it possible to break through these cockroaches? Or just not worth it?
I'm wondering:
Is it possible to try to bargain or persuade the employer to receive a salary of at least Javist, for example?
Or do we wish people perseverance and luck and pass by?

Is it possible to try to bargain or persuade the employer to receive a minimum salary of Javist

You can try but:
1) From the street, a person will not immediately be given a high salary, I think you still need to get a job at 100, work and then ask 150-170 conditionally
2) The market is the market. Ok, you want to get above the market - upgrade special skills. There are no such skills in this market, or there are few vacancies (little competition for developers) just go to another market
Why do developers get paid a lot? Because it is often the core of a business, an element without which it is impossible. Is your profession the core of your business? Can it be outsourced?
In general, you need to look at the situation, but I think your idea is correct:
In our country, too, people came to simple vacancies and said that they wanted 2 times more. I ask: why do you have to receive so much? What skills do you have for this? They are silent. "I just want that much." Desire is great, but it has to be backed up by something.

Well, judging by the text, you are a proud person who appreciates his work. +

"It is possible" - this means is it not forbidden by the unwritten code of firms? Or will they not beat you with a stick if you ask about it? Not forbidden, they won't.
You may well say at the vacancy negotiations - "I like the vacancy, but I would like so much for the salary." However, of course, be prepared to make arguments in favor of your position, and the argument like "and here you have a vacancy nearby for other money" is not good, the values of justice, equality and brotherhood are not what business primarily cares about

Well, what's stopping you from negotiating besides your own laziness?

Didn't find what you were looking for?
