Now everyone and everywhere is talking about web development, its power and inclusiveness. About how it is necessary, cool and irreplaceable. The problem is that I can't digest the web at all. No matter how much you try, it's always a boring ass. I love programming, creating programs, writing code, but considering the popularity of this industry, I want to ask: "Is it possible to work as a programmer without much contact with web development? Or do you still have to work with it?"

Take any IDE for the language you need and create whatever you want for any OS.
There are a lot of languages: C#, delphi, C++, python, etc.

There are a lot of areas where a webcam is not needed, a huge number of desktop applications for different operating systems. I don't see any difficulty here. I disagree that webcam is always UG, it all depends on you as an engineer. You can also write for the desktop, turning the work into UG.
