Is it possible not to use the red switch to turn on and supply voltage? Can I leave it on and turn it on right away?

Often the starting current exceeds the operating one; and it is better if the switching of this current is taken over not by a plug with a socket, but by the contacts of the switch, specially designed for this. You have a relay stabilizer (in fact, just a transformer with switching windings), it should not matter to him.

It is possible, the stabilizer is designed for long-term operation and, as a rule, has protection against possible power failures (over/under voltage)
