Is it possible for a programmer to get into consulting?
Good day, dear readers of this forum! Perhaps the question is not so much related to programming in principle, but still: Is it possible, having a VO programmer, to get a job in the consulting industry, in Big 3 (McK, Bain, BCG) or Big 4 (JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and etc)? I would be grateful to all those who will answer this "important" question for me, and I would also like to hear from those who work in this area and can share real advice and experience!

Dude, did you look at your profile?
40 questions and 1 answer - well, what a nafik background consulting .
Learn, learn and learn.
My girl worked in McKinsey then in Jeep Morgan, they pay little work, just hellishly much, working as a programmer is just a hundred times more comfortable and brings a lot more money, I don’t really understand why you are there?
Really, if you have the qualities they need (they do not depend on a diploma)
But is it necessary - this is a question. There is a high probability that you will not like everything - colleagues, clients, culture, managers, and most importantly, the results of work. I write from experience a slightly different Big-4 (PwC, Deloitte E&Y...)
