Is it necessary to go to Moscow to become a good programmer?

The situation is this: I live in Rostov-on-Don, I study Python. I decided to change my occupation and get a full-fledged python junior in some company. I looked at hh.ru: I found 3 suitable vacancies in Rostov, I looked in Moscow: there are about 300 of them.
And now the essence of the question: is it necessary to move to the capital and look for a company for a cool start, or is it enough to stay here? I am interested in professional growth. Where will he be most productive?

For development, the place of work is important, not the city.

It is possible in the region to grow to world-class heights, but in Moscow it is easier.

It will be more productive, of course, in the metropolis.
Moving to Moscow as a programmer is no different from moving to Moscow by another specialist, that is, the question is outside the scope of the resource.

We must not forget that you can work in a Moscow company, and live in another place.

No, not necessarily.
But at the very beginning of your career (2 years, and preferably 5 years) - this is important - you should have a firm with experienced colleagues there in your place that will pull you up.

Yes, and Lomonosov moved, although the capital, like, has been in St. Petersburg for 30 years)))
the recipe is simple - conferences, there you will get hooked on startups and there is a chance,

as a programmer, he is limited by your abilities, since the Internet has come
in terms of salary, he is limited by the city of residence, it is enough to compare them on xx
