Is it necessary for a web designer to master Photoshop completely or is it enough to master Bitmap graphics?

Good day to all! Guys, I'm a beginner web designer and moving on to the next course of study became an edge question! For design, I need to know Photoshop completely or it will be enough to master "Raster Graphics"

What do you think - when hiring, an employer is more likely to hire a person who knows Photoshop completely, or someone who has just mastered "raster graphics"?

for web design just the same vector is more important :)
