Is it important what diploma to present to the employer?

Hello, is there a difference in the diplomas of Moscow State University and MIREA / RUDN University when applying for a job in the IT field? Moscow State University is the top, and MIREA / RUDN University are sharashkin offices or they only look at skills (but in Moscow State University they can develop much better in theory).

In the CIS and not in the public sector - do not care at all.
In other cases, they can look at the profile of education.

With the same success, you can throw your diploma in the trash - there will be no difference for the employer. Another thing is if he has connections with the university, and they cut money together. Then yes, they prefer to take their own.

The employer basically doesn't care.
In large offices, there may be HR with their own ideas, for juniors this may be a bit of a problem.
In the public sector, a diploma is often needed, but any.

You don't need a degree, what matters is your skills.

I myself had to hire 2 employees (a php programmer and a system administrator). Many people came to the position of a programmer with a variety of diplomas and without. Where the candidate received his diploma was absolutely all the same, it is important what knowledge he showed at the interview. As a result, he took a person without a diploma of higher education, but with a lot of knowledge behind him. I don't regret my choice.
Among acquaintances, only 1 person looks where the candidate graduated from (but he himself graduated from Bauman), while the rest have enough knowledge and experience.
